We acknowledge the Pitcairn Islander descendants as the custodians of the lands, waters, and sky of Norf’k Ailen. We are mindful of the enduring connection which cannot be broken. We pay our respects to the Elders who have passed on, the Elders here today, and those of the future.
The Norf’k Ailen Government will hold annual elections in the Knowledge & Learning Centre as per the Pitcairn/Norf’k Constitution of 1838. The elections are a requirement of the Constitution, and are to be held 1st January every year. The time of the elections will be between 10.00am – 12.00pm, a maximum duration of 2 hrs.
The event is for the public to vote for the constitutionally appointed positions for the Norf’k Ailen Government.
