The KLC announces a series of briefings to prepare Island residents for the transition to a new form of government later in 2024: Preparing for government service. The briefings will aim to build skills and confidence to prepare individuals to be nominated as candidates for election or to apply for senior management roles and responsibilities in the new administration. The Interim Council Administration is expected to be dissolved in December 2024, if not earlier.

Attendance at the briefings does not oblige anyone to apply to join the new administration in any capacity. The knowledge and learning outcomes will benefit anyone interested in matters concerning management and public administration.

This briefing by local identity Tet Grube JP, an experienced insurance broker on the Island with traditional Island heritage, is not a commercial presentation. It will give an overview of insurance relevant to public officials, businesses and homeowners alike.

There is no charge. Doors will open at 2:30 PM for self-serve tea and coffee for gold coin donation. Registration is not compulsory but will assist KLC with numbers to prepare the venue with seating.
