This Science at Sunset event will be a dual program, as follows:

5:00 PM – 5:30 PM – Snails to the Rescue; Dr Isabel Hyman and Norfolk Island National Park staff will provide the community with an update on the planned translocation of Advena campbellii snails back to Norfolk Island.

 

5:30 PM – 6:00 PM – Scientists Anne Lietch, Stefan Williams and Paul Flemons from the Australian Museum will be sharing updates about their latest marine BioBlitz in the waters surrounding Norfolk Island.

Note: each presentation will be run for 20 mins, with a strict 10 mins question time. At 6:00 PM, we will have a short break for anyone who needs to leave, however the audience is encouraged to stay and continue the discussion with all presenters taking further questions.
